ole Overview Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication and collaboration skills, along with a high level of service to support business needs. This includes working with various internal teams daily to resolve critical company and customer related needs. The successful candidate should also exhibit a strong attention to detail and possess a team-oriented approach and behavior.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Monitor production schedules, processes, and productivity to ensure key activities are accomplished daily / weekly / monthly.
- Create work orders and manufacturing orders as needed.
- Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.
- Process Design and Improvement
- Incorporates new methods, processes, tooling, and jigs to improve production efficiency.
- Troubleshoots new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.
- Reviews product designs for manufacturability or completeness
- Trains production personnel in new or existing methods.
- Creates and maintains assembly/work instructions for new production lines.
- Quality Assurance and Safety:
- Establish and enforce compliance with quality standards to ensure the highest levels of customer / client satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to process control procedures, operating instructions, and all quality control instructions.
- Create quality checklists to ensure production quality is consistently achieved.
- Perform quality inspections and receiving of production materials as needed.
- Safeguard manufacturing operations which accomplish safety, quality, output and cost performance
- Collaboration
- Develop a presence on the floor and positive working relationships with all personnel which supports a positive work culture and high level of engagement.
- Work closely with Quality, Sales, and Engineering Departments to resolve customer issues, technical problems, product quality and / or delivery concerns.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2-5 years of operations in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience in production and mechanical design
- Demonstrated Supply Chain experience
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Preferably Autodesk)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Spreadsheets and Databases
- Knowledge in geometric tolerances and dimensioning
- Experience in mill and lathe machining processes, tooling, setup, and programming
