Claire Myers Consulting is hiring: Manufacturing Technician in Buellton

Our Client is looking for two Manufacturing Technicians in Buellton. If you're reliable, pays attention to detail, and enjoys problem-solving both independently and as part of a team, this might be the role for you!

They have an opening for one day shift and one night shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team during the second shift, ensuring safety and productivity.
• Train and coach technicians, address performance issues, and motivate the team.
• Assemble parts, use hand and power tools, and conduct quality checks.
• Perform machine setup and operation, ensuring parts meet specifications.
• Use precision instruments to measure and examine completed units.
• Monitor machines, diagnose issues, and perform minor maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Machinist certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with CNC machines is a plus.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment and interpret technical instructions.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing schedules and personnel.
• Proficient in English with basic computer skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

• Full-time position.

Day Shift Hours

• For training 8am-4:30pm
• After training one of the two:
• 8am-4:30pm or 5:30am-1pm

Night Shift Hours

• For training 8am-4:30pm
• After training: 1:30pm-12:00am
• Onsite in Buellton, CA.
• Salary Range: $22.50 - $30.00/hour, plus benefits including medical insurance and 401k.
