Become a part of the Vivvi founding team at a brand new 24-hour child care center on Toyota's new campus in Liberty, NC, to help build the quality program children deserve while pursuing your own professional growth and development.

About The Role

As a Mentor Teacher, you'll:

  • Manage other Head Teachers that support the classroom
  • Training new teachers in your classroom on the Vivvi Learning Model, a child-centered, inquiry-based approach
  • Providing mentorship and modelling to all faculty members in your classroom
  • Ensure the well-being and development of the children in your age group
  • Dream up rich, thematic units that foster children's curiosity and help them achieve key individual and age-appropriate milestones
  • Lead planning and implementation of inquiry-based activities and curriculum tailored towards children's developmental growth
  • Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
  • Proactively communicate with parents regarding their children's development and growth and audit Brightwheel messages
  • Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocols

  • Have 2+ years of experience working in a Head Teacher capacity
  • Hold a Bachelors Degree in ECE or Child Development
  • Value and create strong relationships with families, children, and faculty
  • Possess excellent leadership skills including the ability to define goals and motivate staff towards success
  • Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues

What We Offer:

Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Our educators earn hourly rates from $18-$24 based on level of education and experience. Full-time employees also receive benefits including tuition reimbursement, health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement savings, and commuter benefits.
