Description The DarkStar Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in McLean, VA. Below is an overview of the project, as well as information on our company, our benefits, and our $25,000 referral program. THE PROGRAM The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. We've grown on this effort by providing the customer with Engineers who have done exceptional work, and we've retained our staff by paying very strong salaries, and working hard to ensure each Engineer is doing work that aligns with their career interest. THE ROLE Develop and support a hardened cloud environment for the customer. Required Skills Demonstrated experience deploying and managing computer, networking, storage, and database AWS services at an enterprise level. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting issues in AWS cloud environments. Demonstrated experience using DevOps tools in a cloud environment, such as Ansible or GitHub. Demonstrated experience implementing security at all layers on AWS cloud solutions. Demonstrated experience deploying and managing cloud-based applications. Demonstrated experience with Linux/Unix and Windows server system administration. Demonstrated experience using monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch or ELK Stack. Demonstrated experience working within the security constraints required for the proper handling and protection of data. Demonstrated experience with writing detailed technical documentation for installation and configuration. Demonstrated experience with the customers' A&A Process. Demonstrated experience with writing detailed O&M procedures. Demonstrated experience working with Identity and Access Management (IdAM) systems such as Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Microsoft Active Directory, OAuth 2.0 or Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML). Demonstrated experience building and deploying virtual desktop environments such as Citrix or Remote Desktop Protocol. Demonstrated experience with an understanding of writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform. Demonstrated experience working alongside architecture and engineering teams to implement scalable software services. Demonstrated experience administering SQL and NoSQL databases. Demonstrated experience managing continuous monitoring responsibilities for IT systems. Demonstrated experience managing vulnerability scanning responsibilities for IT systems. Certification(s):

AWS SysOps Administrator Associate

Desired Skills (Optional) Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining system security certification and accreditation for IT systems in accordance with compliance requirements. Demonstrated experience supporting security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management using Risk Management Framework (RMF). Demonstrated experience automating tasks using AWS Lambda. Demonstrated experience with an understanding of implementing security best practices and Sponsor compliance requirements into networking, computing, and enclave environments. Demonstrated experience with HLT systems such as Optical Character Recognition and Computer Assisted Translation. Demonstrated experience with NodeJS, ReactJS and ExpressJS. Demonstrated experience building monitoring solutions in CloudWatch and ELK Stack. Demonstrated experience building APIs using Swagger and OpenAPI. Demonstrated experience in at least one scripting language, python preferred. Demonstrated experience developing solutions in Javascript. Demonstrated experience with strong speaking, writing, and presentation skills. Certification(s):

Security+ Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) CompTIA’s Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Certifications
