CapEd is seeking a dynamic and visionary CEO to guide the organization into the future. The CEO is a forward-thinking leader who prioritizes member needs, propelling the credit union into the future while honoring its rich history. Collaboration with the board is imperative for strategic visioning, enabling the infusion of creativity and foresight into the credit union’s growth. Establishing a strong community presence and leadership in the local and regional areas is essential to enhancing the organization’s visibility and reputation statewide and nationally. The CEO serves as a financial leader, adeptly balancing the needs of the members, employees, and the credit union while safeguarding the organization’s financial soundness.
The CEO will serve as a leader of leaders, empowering the team to achieve collective goals while creating a healthy corporate culture that engages employees, aligns teams from the top down, and administers the credit union’s policies. The CEO will guide the organization through transformative times, prioritizing members’ trust in the organization’s commitment to their financial well-being. As the face of the credit union and a representative of the community, the CEO will lead with integrity, anticipate member needs, and consistently deliver value and benefits to them.
Education, Experience, and Responsibilities:
BS or BA degree. Masters preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of proven leadership in financial institutions; credit union management and IT experience preferred.
Competency in organizational and team transformation, cultural evolution, and operational excellence.
Experience leading several strategic initiatives and changes to support a compelling vision.
Develop and execute a strategic vision that drives growth, innovation, and member satisfaction.
Provide strong financial leadership, ensuring the credit union’s financial stability and growth.
Inspire and coach a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with members, stakeholders, and the community.
Champion innovative solutions and technologies to enhance member services and operational efficiency.
Lead the development and implementation of business strategies that align with the credit union’s mission and values.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the financial services industry.
