We take great pride in transporting our passengers to their desired destination. EMT serves organizations in the St. Louis, Missouri metro and surrounding areas, including neighboring areas in Illinois, as well as Cumberland, Maryland. These organizations include school districts, hospitals, doctor's offices, and more. We also transport individuals and families to and from appointments or simply when they need a ride. Position Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with clients and partners, and driving growth initiatives that contribute to our company's success. Essential Functions: Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, industry knowledge, current expertise, and existing contacts. Lead and manage the RFP process. Cultivate strong relationships with new clients while maintaining existing client relationships. Develop a thorough understanding of the market, including the needs of different client groups and market dynamics. Collaborate with the executive team to develop strategies for generating new business. Lead and manage market research to identify new business opportunities and understand the competition. Create and improve proposals for our existing and new clients. Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential clients. Work closely with the executive team to plan and oversee new marketing initiatives. Negotiate with clients to secure the most advantageous terms. Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and promote the company. Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s services to enhance the sales process. Manage and report on the sales pipeline and leads, tracking progress towards sales targets. Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of company goals, as appropriate. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to clients. Develop and implement growth strategies in collaboration with the executive team. Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field and/or equivalent education, experience, and training in lieu of degree. Experience: Proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role preferably in passenger transportation. Abilities: Strong understanding of the company's market position and industry trends. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic business plans. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build rapport and cultivate professional relationships. Highly motivated with a results-driven approach. Capacity to work independently and with cross-functional teams. Ability to travel as required by the job. Knowledge of contract negotiation and deal closure. Experience in market research and analysis. Financial acumen and the ability to interpret business metrics. Understanding of and experience with regulatory and compliance issues within the industry.
