This is a hybrid role with the expectation that you will need to go into the office 3 days week. You must be located within 50 miles of our Chicago, IL office located at: One South Wacker, 1 S Wacker Dr #2250, Chicago, IL 60606 About You Account Directors are ultimately responsible for building and managing high-performing, efficient and effective teams to best service their clients. Their top priorities are strong client growth/retention and employee growth/retention. Account Directors should be able to lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated services for their clients based on DEPT’s best practices. They are effective communicators who can inspire and motivate teams to achieve and exceed client goals based on their deep understanding of the ins and outs of their clients’ businesses (not just digital). Ads proactively bring innovative strategy, holistic ideas, and leadership to help clients meet their overarching business goals. You’ll be responsible for: Maintaining a strong understanding of the holistic business for each client in their portfolio - with insights on their competitors, overarching business goals, engagements with other agency partners, performance priorities, etc. Orchestrating multi-discipline collaboration and implementation for flawless execution of full-funnel, cross-channel campaign strategy and activation. Developing a deep working knowledge of Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, as well as a core understanding of Growth Services (Programmatic, Decision Sciences, Creative, SEO/CRO). Staying up-to-date on all information disseminated across the agency to ensure their track is adopting best practices and testing recommendations prioritized by the agency. Serving as a point of escalation for all clients within your portfolio. Managing all major deliverables and presentations for your client portfolio. Ensuring successful onboarding of all new clients within your track. Successfully scaling layers of management and ensuring career pathing/goals are established for every member of your team. Identifying succession plans for your team and cultivating talent development for upward mobility. You’ll need to have: A minimum of 8 years’ paid social experience and a minimum 3 years of experience in a client-facing marketing role. Cross-channel expertise in paid search & programmatic advertising experience highly preferred. Proven prior work experience managing a team of 3+ direct reports. A deep understanding of Meta Ads Manager. The ability to audit an account and present actionable insights to a client. The ability to provide feedback and strategic guidance to all paid media channels. To hold your own talking growth strategy, SEO, CRO, analytics and measurement with marketing managers and C-Level executives alike. Experience acting as an escalation point for clients. Additional things that will impress us: The ability to identify upsell opportunities across all agency offerings. You are skilled at effectively communicating/teaching optimization tasks. Successful track record of crafting and participating in sales pitches and audits. Proven prior work experience managing a P&L and hitting margin targets. WHAT DO WE OFFER? The anticipated salary range for this position is $107,300 - $135,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact.
