Selby Jennings is partnering with a Family Office in the Southern California area looking for an Investment Banking Associate/Vice President to join their Investment Management team. This Family Office is seeking a motivated individual to work on global investments and international portfolio management, collaborating closely with deal teams, C-Suites, and others. Compensation:
USD 250,000 + Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or CFA/CPA designation is often preferred. Experience : 3-8 years in Investment Banking or Private Equity, ideally with experience with private clients and Debt Capital Markets and/or M&A. Financial Expertise : Strong understanding of financial markets, asset classes, investment strategies, and risk management techniques. Analytical Skills : Proficiency in financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and investment due diligence. Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with regulatory requirements, compliance, and tax considerations for high-net-worth families. Communication Skills : Ability to communicate complex investment concepts clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
