Provide strategic leadership and direction for complex, large-scale construction projects in the Ports and Marine sector, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client expectations. Oversee and manage all phases of project delivery, from initial planning and proposal preparation through execution and close-out, ensuring quality outcomes, financial performance, and client satisfaction. Lead multi-disciplinary project teams of 10 or more members, including remote personnel and subcontractors, fostering collaboration across business lines and geographic locations. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships to ensure effective communication, address challenges, and exceed client expectations. Develop project strategies and plans, incorporating risk assessments, resource allocation, and innovative solutions to ensure successful execution. Negotiate and manage project contracts, including scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Identify and resolve complex technical, logistical, and operational issues, leveraging expertise and collaboration to mitigate risks and drive efficiency. Monitor and report on project progress, financial performance, and key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with established goals and metrics. Promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement throughout all project phases. Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams, cultivating talent and fostering professional development. Actively contribute to business development by preparing competitive proposals, responding to RFPs, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives within the Ports and Marine business line. Qualifications BA/BS + 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership. Professional Engineer License. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 14 years of experience in construction project management, including leadership roles within the Ports and Marine industry. Proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex projects with significant financial impact. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams across multiple locations and disciplines. Strong negotiation skills with experience in preparing and managing contracts. Proficiency in project management tools and software, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting platforms. Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in Ports and Marine construction. Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues and make data-driven decisions under pressure. Strong client relationship management skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement and maintaining client satisfaction. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable. Willingness to travel as required to support project needs and client engagements. Additional Information Sponsorship is not offered for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $180,000.00 - $250,000.00.
