Summary:
We are looking for a Technical Artist to join our team in Los Angeles. This person will be responsible for building 3d environments based on project scope, stylize and light each scene towards a given reference, and develop interactive game functions for our digital environments. The primary focus will be on projects related to our sports and entertainment activations.
Responsibilities:
- Work with cross disciplinary teams to design and build unreal engine 5 levels.
- Create 2d and 3d assets within guidelines to be used in UE5
- Write blueprint scripts to demonstrate specific behaviors.
- Recreate existing assets to gain performance (rebuild geometry, create new uv maps, make new layers and groups.
- 5+ years of experience in game development or the tech industry operating as a technical artist
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5.
- Experience with character rigging techniques
- Experience with DCC tools such as Maya, Rhino, Substance, 3DS Max, and Blender.
- Experience with real time asset implementation and optimization techniques.
- Working knowledge of DMX protocol a plus
