About Our Client

Our client is a leading commercial construction builder based in Indianapolis. This organization has a "work hard play hard" mentality and think of their employees like family. Project portfolio is very diverse and includes many different project sizes! This organization has a hand in building state of the art light-industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceutical & education facilities. Every project is executed to the highest degree of precision, and safety is the number one priority on job sites. They're looking for an innovative Superintendent that can uphold their values & wants to grow within the organization!

Job Description

• Oversee all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, & progress.
• Provide guidance, leadership and direct supervision of site staff, including assistant superintendents, laborers and other construction related personnel
• Manage subcontractors on site to maximize efficiency and ensure they meet contractual obligations and complete entire scope of work - including maintaining cleanliness, safety procedures, and staffing
• Examine contract drawings and specifications for design deficiencies, impractical details and possible code violations, and bring these to the attention of the Project Manager for review with the Architect
• Cooperate with, and direct when necessary, the activities of inspection agencies, and to effect remedial actions indicated by the reports of these agencies

The Successful Applicant

• A strong track record of delivering projects on-time & on-budget
• Must be comfortable overseeing the workforce on each project
• Personable, able to explain daily plans and project objectives to owners
• Proven experience in successfully leading Light-industrial & Commercial projects
• Proven experience working closely with sub-contractors and community
• 7+ years of experience as Lead Superintendent
