WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Play a pivotal role in organizing, executing, and managing training programs designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees

Position Overview: As a Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling both in-person and virtual training sessions, managing logistics for training sessions, including translation, materials, printing, room reservations, and more. Additionally, your role as the Training Coordinator will include scheduling Train-the-Trainer sessions and overseeing the storage and deployment of training materials.

Your day-to-day looks like:

Training Coordination and Scheduling:

  • Coordinate and schedule in-person and virtual training sessions.
  • Ensure all training sessions are planned and executed according to the project timeline and milestones.
  • Manage the calendar of training events and communicate schedules to all stakeholders.
Logistics Management:
  • Handle logistics and scheduling for training sessions, including room reservations, equipment setup, and other necessary arrangements.
  • Manage the translation of training materials as required.
  • Oversee the printing and distribution of training materials and courseware components.
  • Ensure training facilities are equipped with necessary hardware, network access, audio-visual equipment, and classroom supplies.
  • Train-the-Trainer Sessions:
    • Schedule and coordinate Train-the-Trainer sessions to prepare selected trainers.
    • Work with project leadership to identify and onboard trainers.
    • Ensure trainers are equipped with the materials needed to deliver effective training sessions.
  • Training Material Management:
    • Oversee the development, storage, and deployment of training materials.
    • Create Workback Schedules (WBS), oversee deadlines and deliverables; and weekly status reporting to ensure timelines are met
    • Manage the storage of training materials in organizational tools and platforms.
    • Facilitate the distribution of training materials to trainees and trainers.
  • Engagement and Feedback:
    • Engage with trainees to answer questions, collect assessments, and garner feedback on training materials.
    • Conduct evaluations to assess and measure training effectiveness and update or revise training as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Analyze training evaluations and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
    • Work with the training team to implement improvements and ensure training materials and sessions meet the highest standards.
YOU'LL LOVE WORKING WITH US IF YOU HAVE:
  • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience; 3+ years' experience in project management or event management
  • Proven experience in coordinating training programs and managing logistics.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors LMS and SAP Enable Now.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of content assets of various types in different stages of production
  • Impeccable organizational skills and juggling
  • Wants to learn a creative development/production process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Experience in a corporate training environment.

DETAILS. Onsite, full-time contractual position in Chicago, IL. The ability to occasionally travel to training sites and flexibility to work outside regular business hours to accommodate training schedules.

Oxygen Experience will offer the successful candidate a competitive base compensation. The targeted range for this role is $30 to $50 an hour.
