Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks a full-time Drafting Technician for our Research and Development team in Lincoln, NE.

Responsibilities of Drafting Technician (R&D) can include:

  • Work in 3D CAD software (CATIA) to make 3D models, prints, assembly manuals, and installation instructions
  • Perform FEA Analysis
  • Utilize 2D/3D Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software to accurately create, modify, and complete detailed drawings, charts and other related engineering documentation
  • May prepare equipment layouts and drawings to meet project schedules
  • May assist and install fixtures and tooling for part set up for new or existing processes with directions from engineering staff
Qualifications for Drafting Technician (R&D):
  • Two year Associate’s Degree in CAD/Drafting or certificate in CAD/Drafting program
  • Experience with CATIA and/or Solidworks preferred
  • Must be able to display appropriate proficiency with computers and computer applications as well as diagnose and correct minor issues with hardware and software, as needed in order to maintain records or create instructional materials
