The PMM - GTM will drive the strategy and execution of Baseten's end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) efforts for growth segments. As a key member of the Product Marketing team, you will sit at the intersection of marketing, product, and sales, crafting and implementing playbooks to drive growth among new customer cohorts. This hands-on role demands an analytical, strategic thinker with expertise in customer, competitor, and market analysis, as well as strong skills in messaging, positioning, sales enablement, and content creation.

WHAT THIS ROLE REQUIRES
- Proficiency in audience segmentation and data analytics.
- Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., Hubspot), CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies.
- Knowledge of community management and engagement strategies.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Drive definition and execution of the GTM strategy for target customer cohorts, including audience segmentation, use case prioritization, marketing plans and sales playbooks.
- Identify and size market opportunities to align with Baseten's growth goals and customer needs.
- Help launch new products, programs, campaigns and initiatives to hit product, awareness, and revenue goals
- Ideate on PLG strategy and support activation and retention metrics
- Positioning and Messaging:
- Craft tailored messaging and positioning frameworks for target segments that highlight Baseten's unique value proposition, focused on engaging technical (AI/ML practitioners) and business decision-makers.
- Partner with the product team to ensure messaging aligns with the product roadmap and market trends.
- Use Case Development
- Research and prioritize high-impact use cases across industries to drive adoption and differentiation.
- Collaborate with customers to showcase real-world applications, creating case studies, whitepapers, and demo narratives.
- Sales Enablement
- Develop resources to empower the sales team, including playbooks, battle cards, objection-handling guides, and competitive analysis.
- Train the sales team on product positioning and GTM updates to enhance alignment and success in the field.
- Content Strategy
- Drive production of high-value content such as blogs, guides, videos, and webinars that drive demand and engage the target audience.
- Ensure consistency across all marketing assets, aligning with the broader brand narrative.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to align efforts, drive pipeline growth, and inform product development with market insights.
- Act as the voice of the customer to ensure the product and messaging meet user needs.
