Job Title: Payroll HR Generalist
Location: Central San Diego, CA
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in Central San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in processing multi-state payroll and a comprehensive understanding of HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare reports for management
Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
Support HR functions such as onboarding, employee relations, and performance management
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as labor laws and regulations
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred but not required
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing, with a focus on multi-state payroll
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
At least 1-2 years of human resources experience
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Working Hours:
40 hours per week
Full-time
Onsite
Monday - Friday
8:00am-5:00pm PST

Located in Central, San Diego
Contract to hire or Direct role
Compensation: $80,000- $89,000 annually DOE
