Job Details

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid working model, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work. This role is pivotal in managing our financial operations and contributing to our continued growth and success. The position involves a wide range of responsibilities from overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department to preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in accounting management and possess a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, General Ledger, and Treasury.
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Perform month-end and year-end close process.
• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Collaborating with the finance team to improve financial procedures.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing experience highly preferred.
• Experience with financial software systems such as Sage and Netsuite.
• Strong understanding of month-end/year-end processes.
