Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Production Technicians for various shifts to safely and efficiently manage the operation of plasma reactors according to production schedules. This role involves monitoring and adjusting reactor parameters in real-time to optimize performance and output quality, performing regular maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring that produced fertilizers meet predefined quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of plasma reactors according to production schedules.
• Monitor and adjust reactor parameters in real-time to optimize performance and output quality.
• Perform regular maintenance on reactors and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues, implementing corrective actions and cleanings to minimize downtime.
• Ensure that produced fertilizers meet predefined quality standards by conducting tests and inspections.
• Work closely with engineers to refine production techniques and suggest improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and environmental regulations, participate in safety drills and training sessions, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate production data records, including maintenance activities and quality control results, and utilize data to generate reports for management review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, to support the development of new fertilizer formulations or production methods.

Essential Skills

• Experience in operating plasma reactors or similar equipment in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of chemical processes and safety protocols related to fertilizer production.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Specialization in plasma technology is a plus.

Work Environment

You will be working in a big warehouse environment that can be cold at times. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses will be provided and required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
