Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description

Candidates will be working on the production line. They will be inspecting products, taking them off the line, and cleaning up trash when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Tumbler, Grinder, Bullnoser equipment safely.
• Inspect the quality of products according to standards and remove junk from the production line.
• Detect and report any equipment malfunctions and quality issues to Plant Manager.
• Sort product according to specification.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production flow.
• Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and other functions associated with job changes.
• Execute Daily and Business fundamentals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and Lead Machine Operator.
• Willing and able to cross-train on other aspects of the production process.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Experience as a Production Laborer, General Laborer, or Manufacturing Worker.
• Concrete inspection skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple operating instructions and safety procedures.
• Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment can be hot or cold depending on the weather and includes both inside and outside settings. It is often loud and dusty. Employees will frequently stand for extended periods and need the ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds, with assistance if needed, at heights from floor level to 4 feet high.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, California.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
