Job Description Summary:
Under general supervision, the Human Resources Intern will perform basic office/clerical work in support of the People Operations Team. This position is designed to provide practical experience for current students working towards a degree/career in Human Resources.
Summer 2025 Internship. Position will be onsite full time in San Diego, CA.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Learn the fundamentals of HR, TA, HRIS and Benefits
- Work closely with HR Administrator to improve/streamline HR processes.
- Assists with a variety of Human Resources tasks and projects
- Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines with successful completion of work.
- Learn about the full lifecycle recruiting process (screening resumes, phone interviews, scheduling and confirming interviews)
- Assist with data entry for benefits, leave of absences and employee relations
- Shadow multiple department positions and train in a variety of tasks within the department to learn and understand how the function is important to the organization's overall business.
- Work closely with assigned department on various tasks, attend department meetings, manage small projects, and learn about how the department functions within the organization
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, Communications or Management with a graduation date between May 2024 - May 2026
- A team player with a professional demeanor with sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive information
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work schedule and transition between projects and tasks seamlessly to meet deadlines and business needs
- Proficient computer skills with experience in MS Office Applications including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
- Effective communication skills
