We have partnered with a firm seeking an experienced, skilled, and motivated Litigation Attorney with a strong background in labor and employment, business litigation, or health care to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience handling complex litigation matters and possess a passion for delivering exceptional legal services to clients. This position requires a licensed attorney in both Kansas and Missouri and offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience handling complex litigation matters and possess a passion for delivering exceptional legal services to clients. This position requires a licensed attorney in both Kansas and Missouri and offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in litigation matters involving labor and employment, business disputes, and health care issues.
- Manage and oversee all stages of litigation, including case analysis, discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Develop and implement case strategies, advise clients on legal risks, and work closely with other attorneys and staff on case management.
- Provide timely and accurate legal advice to clients and ensure their needs are met throughout the litigation process.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and experts, ensuring positive outcomes for all involved.
- Stay up-to-date on legal trends and developments in relevant practice areas, including labor and employment law, business litigation, and health care law.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active and unrestricted license to practice law in Kansas and Missouri.
- 5+ years of litigation experience in at least one of the following practice areas: labor and employment, business litigation, or health care.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation matters and work independently.
- Excellent negotiation and client management skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
- Experience in handling discovery, depositions, and trials is preferred.
- A commitment to providing exceptional client service and legal representation.
