About the Role:
Are you passionate about benefits administration and ensuring a seamless employee experience? Join our team at Ferrero as a Benefits Specialist, where you'll play a critical role in managing the company's Health & Welfare and 401(k) retirement plans across the US and Puerto Rico. You'll work closely with payroll, third-party administrators, and employees to ensure benefits processes run smoothly while leading impactful projects in compliance, reporting, and systems optimization.

You'll work closely with payroll, third-party administrators, and employees to ensure benefits processes run smoothly while leading impactful projects in compliance, reporting, and systems optimization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Health & Welfare Administration:
- Oversee accurate employee benefits enrollments and manage projects such as benefit arrears and claim summaries for plans like Medical, HSA, and 401(k).
- Troubleshoot and resolve benefit deduction and vendor edit errors, ensuring data accuracy and employee satisfaction.
- 401(k) Retirement Plans:
- Manage plan administration and funding processes, ensuring compliance and timely issue resolution.
- Reporting and Compliance:
- Deliver audits, ACA filings, and other cyclical reporting with actionable insights.
- Process Optimization:
- Develop and refine SOPs for benefit funding and processes to enhance compliance and the employee experience.
- Systems Integration and Vendor Management:
- Ensure seamless integration between payroll systems (UKG) and benefit administrators while recommending process improvements.
- Employee Support and Communication:
- Handle inquiries, conduct orientations, and deliver benefit presentations to keep employees informed and supported.
- 5+ years in benefits administration (payroll experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with health and welfare plans, 401(k), and benefit systems.
- Experience with UKG systems preferred; Puerto Rico and Canada benefits knowledge is a bonus.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Strong understanding of IRS and ERISA regulations governing benefits.
- Analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills.
- Effective communication and project management abilities.
- Commitment to ethical practices and exceptional customer service.
