Product Design Co-op
This is a full-time co-op for the duration of the summer semester - this will be a hybrid position located in Cincinnati. There will be mostly work from home options, along with meetings at the Cincinnati HQ during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00 pm).

Job Summary
As a Product Design Co-op at Paycor, you will work alongside our product design team, software engineers, and product managers to learn about creating exceptional software products. You will be introduced to UX principles and have the opportunity to apply them in real-world projects. Under the mentorship of experienced designers, you'll contribute to creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows while learning how to advocate for user needs. You'll gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment while being mentored by experienced designers. This co-op is ideal for students who are passionate about user experience, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to meaningful projects. You'll have the opportunity to develop your design skills while working on actual product features used by our customers.

Paycor Total Rewards
We offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be $18.00-$22.50 hourly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting user research with customers under the guidance of senior designers
- Learn to create sketches, wireframes, and basic prototypes that communicate design concepts
- Participate in usability testing sessions and learn how to gather and analyze user feedback
- Shadow and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand how product decisions are
made

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or related field
- Basic knowledge of design tools like Figma and Miro
- Understanding of basic design principles and user-centered design
- Strong interest in user experience and product design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule during the internship period
