Job Title: Service Manager - HVAC and Residential Construction

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Manager with expertise in HVAC systems and residential construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee our service department, ensuring efficient operations, exceptional customer service, and timely completion of projects. Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the service department, including technicians and administrative staff.
  • Schedule and prioritize service calls, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Coordinate with clients to assess their HVAC and residential construction needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Supervise HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
  • Train and mentor service technicians, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels for ongoing projects.
  • Develop and implement service policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor department performance metrics, such as response times, completion rates, and customer feedback, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to streamline processes and maximize profitability.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our services.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in HVAC systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Solid understanding of residential construction processes and building codes.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with HVAC software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
