Data Analyst What we are looking for: Aldridge Electric is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across various departments. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data related to project performance, safety, financials, and more. What you’ll do: Duties including the following: Collect and integrate data from various sources, including project management software, ERP systems, safety databases, and external sources. Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Develop and maintain databases and data systems for efficient data management. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau to communicate findings to stakeholders. Analyze project performance metrics, such as cost, schedule, and resource allocation, to identify areas for improvement. Conduct statistical analysis to identify risk factors and predict potential project delays or cost overruns. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate data-driven recommendations to management. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging data analysis techniques. Who you are: We are pursuing experienced professionals with the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the construction industry. Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes. Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques. Advanced skills in Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations. Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
