Job Description:
- This temp position is responsible for conducting data mining, data extraction, compilation, and analysis to obtain meaningful insights from highway safety data. Prepares and provides highway safety information, statistics, and analysis for publication in a variety of documents and website. Supports the data manager in planning, analysis, and evaluation of highway safety programs and decision-making. Works on special projects, creates and/or provides presentations; and responds to a variety of requests for highway safety data/information from internal and external entities.
- Demonstrated and working knowledge of the latest data collection techniques, statistical methods and procedures; statistical formulas; graphic arrangements, and of statistical and software applications. Demonstrated ability to research, collect, and organize statistical data; to analyze and make preliminary interpretations of statistical data; to effectively present factual information; and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Manage multiple projects respond to emerging priorities and meet deadlines.
