Position Summary

The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to uncover actionable insights that support key business decisions and strategies. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, finance, operations, and other departments to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize business processes. The Business Data Analyst will bridge the gap between data and business needs, ensuring that data insights are translated into actionable recommendations for business improvement. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and business opportunities. 
  • Develop and maintain business-focused dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present insights to stakeholders. 
  • Use statistical methods and data modeling techniques to identify trends, correlations, and potential areas for optimization. 
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs, define requirements, and ensure that data insights align with business goals. 
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business processes, drive growth, and increase operational efficiency. 
  • Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders, translating findings into actionable business strategies. 
Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business data analysis or a related field, with a strong focus on delivering business insights and strategy. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R). 
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Sigma). 
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, business metrics, and KPIs relevant to various business functions. 
  • Ability to analyze data trends and provide actionable insights that align with business objectives. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner. 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and how they can be used to improve business processes or create predictive models. 
  • Experience with project management, agile methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience in Snowflake for cloud-based data analysis.
