Contract Type: W2 only Duration: 12 months contract Location: San Jose, CA Pay Range: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour on W2 Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to partner with product and business teams, support data-driven decision making, and provide insights to drive growth. The ideal candidate will analyze customer behavior, support A/B testing programs, and communicate insights effectively. This role involves hands-on work with large datasets on big data platforms, and requires a professional who is adept at data storytelling. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with product and business teams to understand requirements and KPIs. Perform regular and ad-hoc data queries, in-depth analyses to comprehend customer behaviors. Assist teams in executing growth programs and A/B tests by analyzing results and sharing insights. Conduct exploratory data analysis to address business queries and guide decision-making. Analyze data sets to generate meaningful insights and diagnostics. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience with big data platforms (i.e., Databricks, Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop). Strong data storytelling and communication abilities. Industry Experience Required: Experience in data science and analytics roles, preferably within a growth-focused industry.
