Grote Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. This individual will play a key role in supporting our accounting department by ensuring accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Benefits: • Competitive salary based on experience • Health insurance options • Dental/Vision/Life Insurance • Retirement plan Responsibilities: • Review vehicle deals for accuracy and missing documents • Post accounting entries related to all vehicle sales and wholesale transactions with tight month-end closing deadlines • Warranty/GAP registration and payments • Process and maintain dealership financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable • Process payments, refunds, and various inquiries • Communicate internally and externally to resolve accounting discrepancies • Manage and organize financial documents, both digitally and physically • Perform additional accounting duties as needed Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or finance preferred • Previous experience in automotive dealership accounting or a related field is a plus • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and dealership management software • Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality and integrity • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation: $35,500 - $45,500 DOE

Compensation:
$35,500-$45,500 per year
