Position will sit onsite at Lenexa Hospital in the executive suite supporting multiple executives at one time.

The community you’ll be caring for:  

Our newest hospital in the Kansas City metro area — AdventHealth Lenexa City Center — will include around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services and inpatient beds for medical-surgical and short-stay units.

The new campus will include:

  • 244,000 square feet
  • Capacity for 98 total beds (44 on opening and 54 slated for future expansion)
  • Four operating rooms (two upon opening and two slated for future dates)

The role you’ll contribute:

Provides administrative support for a members of top management.  Prepares letters, memorandums and reports.  Often composes correspondence requiring independent judgment.  Triages complaints and issues that arise from physicians, patients and family members, visitors and associates.  Answers non-routine inquiries independently.  Researches and analyzes information for complex or sensitive projects.  Is a resource to internal and external customers'

  • Answers the telephone and written correspondence promptly, professionally, and pleasantly at all times.
  • Serves as a resource to other departments on general Medical Center information including policies and protocols in a collaborative manner
  • Coordinates appointments/schedule for administrators, managers, and leadership keeping schedules manageable and flexible with as few changes to customers as possible.
  • Accurately types correspondence, documents, reports, newsletters, proposals, agreements, minutes, position descriptions, personal development process evaluations and other materials of a confidential nature.
  • Demonstrates competency in computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.  Serves as resource for other users when questions arise.
  • Conserves the administrator’s time by anticipating needs, researching questions and writing correspondence for administrator’s approval.
