As a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace through active and visible leadership
  • Implementing and ensuring continuous improvements in safety, employee engagement, productivity, and quality
  • Collaborating with cross functional partners such as engineering, quality, production planning and plant engineering, to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization
  • Leading and continually developing self and others at multiple levels of the organization through supervision, providing recognition, policy administration, continuous coaching for improvement and participation in hiring processes
  • Representing plant leadership team through driving initiatives across the plant, including but not limited to supervision coverage for alternative shifts, being on-call and serving as a primary plant management representative

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND Three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Three (3) years previous supervisory and/or leadership experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
  • Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional environment and influencing higher levels of the organization
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing Manufacturing Supervisors.
  • Experience leading and coaching the tier management process; leading, coaching and sponsoring continuous improvement projects (kaizens) and Six Sigma Green Belt Projects, Six Sigma Black Belt certification

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 - $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
