We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an HR Generalist in RANCHO CORDOVA, California. The role involves a wide range of HR functions, including payroll processing, benefits management, compliance with State and Federal regulations, and claims management.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the bi-weekly payroll calculation and processing
• Handle the administration of company benefits, ensuring accurate and complete documentation
• Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding process, including new hires orientation and termination procedures
• Monitor and maintain Worker’s Compensation claims and records
• Ensure adherence to State and Federal regulations pertaining to HR practices
• Conduct information sessions about benefits for new and existing employees
• Examine workers' compensation data to detect trends and propose improvements to safety and claims management practices
• Work in collaboration with medical providers, insurers, and legal professionals to manage claims and ensure their timely resolution
• Provide guidance and counseling to ensure the company is following policy
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date employee files for both exempt and non-exempt employees

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a HR Generalist role
• Prior experience with Paychex
• Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce systems
• Demonstrated understanding of Benefit Functions
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proven experience in Compliance and Employee Relations
• Knowledge of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) regulations
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion
• An AA degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
