We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Accounting Manager in Houston, Texas, United States. This role involves managing various accounting functions within the commodities industries, and will require a strong understanding of various accounting software systems. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, from accounts payable and receivable to financial reporting.


Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the execution of accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing

• Utilize accounting software systems effectively to maintain and manage financial data

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards

• Manage the billing functions, ensuring all invoices are accurately generated and dispatched

• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business process management

• Use ADP - Financial Services for payroll and HR services

• Manage the SAP S/4HANA system for effective business operations

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards

• Maintain knowledge and understanding of IFRS - Intl Financial Reporting Stds for accurate financial reporting.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials is strongly preferred

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA

• Experience in preparing Consolidated Financial Statements

• Knowledge of US GAAP

• Experience with IFRS Accounting

• Familiarity with IFRS - Intl Financial Reporting Stds
