Job Description
OVERVIEW
Hendall is currently seeking an Analyst (Data Coordinator) with strong organizational and administrative support skills to join a project team supporting the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The Analyst (Data Coordinator) will be collaborative and demonstrate focus and attention to detail. He/she serves as a coordinator on program data submissions from external stakeholders.
DUTIES
- Organize meetings
- Revise and update guidelines manual for program contacts
- Perform outreach to clients in support of program data collections and discrepancies
- Provide technical assistance regarding all program systems and data collections
- Assist with administrative issues
- Receive data in electronic and hard copy formats and prepare for input and processing
- Provide quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) review of project documents
- Support adherence to QA/QC standard operating procedures (SOPs) and identify opportunities for improvement
- Create, document, and implement quality control procedures that eliminate data errors
- Prepare and submit status reports documenting program data submissions
- Revise processing operations to incorporate new data elements and data quality control and timeliness procedures related to new elements
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, data science, computer science, or related fields (strong math and analysis skills are needed)
- 3 years of professional experience in receiving, analyzing, processing large datasets (health domain knowledge preferred)
- Experience with MS Office, including MS Project
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
Salary Range: $30 - $35 per hour
