JOB STATUS: Non-Exempt
JOB GRADE 11: $26.23 to $32.79 Targeted Hourly Rate
*This position works on-site. Remote work is not available at this time.
JOB SUMMARY:
This employee is responsible for all day-to-day recruiting and talent acquisition operations. Duties span the full life-cycle of recruitment, to include kick-off calls with management, job posting, applicant screening, candidate sourcing, conducting interviews, and strategizing around all credit union talent acquisition needs. The individual will interact with all levels of credit union leadership and must exhibit excellent ability to think on their feet, generate interest in the credit union, and successfully identify qualified candidates who fit the credit union's culture and philosophy of people helping people. This is a fast-paced position that requires a wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage full life-cycle recruitment of multiple positions, as well as large scale project hiring initiatives throughout the company (retail banking positions, corporate support, and more).
- Develop and execute innovative search techniques and proactive outreach to generate a diverse pool of candidates necessary to fill open positions.
- Work with managers to ensure a thorough and accurate understanding of job duties, job responsibilities, and required/desired skills during intake meetings.
- Actively interact with potential candidates through professional and social networks, including career fairs, mixers, and other community events.
- Build talent and actively track candidate pipelines within the company's HRIS and recruitment system to enhance bench strength in critical need areas for current and future roles.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates, jobs, and search tools working within the organization's applicant tracking system and related systems (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
- Serve as a back-up to the Human Resources department in a variety of capacities (administration, projects, and other special assignments).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent ability to establish rapport, generate enthusiasm, and develop positive relationships with all prospective candidates.
- Advanced experience in sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, and similar channels.
- Ability to use sound and efficient judgment to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Adaptive technical ability that utilizes tools available to source, screen, and schedule candidates with appropriate skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Ability to exhibit strong initiative and ownership in processes, projects, and assignments.
- Ability to focus on identifying talent in a competitive environment through various digital media, sourcing channels, and local/national outreach efforts.
- Ability to use discretion in working with sensitive and confidential information.
- Patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the members and general public.
- Job Related Travel - As required.
Education/Experience:
- Education or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field, in addition to 3-5 years of experience working in talent acquisition and recruitment.
- Broader Human Resources experience is also required in order to support the Human Resources team as back-up; flexible to numerous HR specializations and experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
