Position – Accounting Assistant
Job Location – Sheboygan, WI
Starting Date – Immediade
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (8:00am - 5:00pm)
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $20 - $24/hr
Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 2 years of accounting experience
You would be responsible for the data entry and processing functions necessary for the Accounts Receivable and Sales Tax reporting.
Responsibilities
-Setting up new customers and maintaining customer master files.
-Maintaining information for sales tax return reporting.
- Accounts receivable invoice processing, including AR adjustments and deposits.
- Apply daily cash payments.
-Assist with collections on past due accounts.
-Maintain Sales Excel spreadsheet.
Qualifications
- High level of understanding of computer software, especially Excel.
-High organized, accurate, confidential and strong communication skills.
- Must have High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years accounting experience or an Associates in Accounting.
