Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Infusion Department
Location: Crestview Hills, KY
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
Expected Hours: 36-38 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Overview


Tristate Arthritis and Rheumatology is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Infusion Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care, administering medications, and ensuring patients receive exceptional treatment in a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Licensing & Certification: Maintain an active and unrestrictive Kentucky RN license and certification. Complete required continuing education and maintain CPR certification.
• Confidentiality: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Patient Care: Triage patients by phone and in-person based on medical priority. Assess health status, provide counseling, and offer nursing advice.
• Infusion Management: Administer IV medications, injections, treatments, and regimens as prescribed by the physician. Start, monitor, and discontinue IV infusions. Provide discharge instructions.
• Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and insurance coordinators for patient eligibility, scheduling, and managing infusion treatments.
• Laboratory Tests: Perform and document laboratory tests as directed by the physician. Inform physician of results.
• Documentation: Accurately document all patient interactions, medications, treatments, and lab results.
• Meetings & Training: Attend department, staff, and educational meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing (required).
• Experience: 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• License/Certification: Active RN license in Kentucky (required), BLS certification (preferred).
• Location: Must be able to commute to Crestview Hills, KY (required).
