Role Summary
The Delivery Driver at Glass Meadows Inc. is responsible for transporting wholesale materials from the cultivation and manufacturing facility to various retail locations. This role ensures timely and accurate deliveries, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The Delivery Driver works closely with the Supply Chain team to support seamless logistics operations and maintain excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Management
- Safely transport wholesale materials to designated retail locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Verify and document the accuracy of delivered goods against delivery manifests and invoices.
- Maintain an organized and efficient delivery schedule to optimize routes and reduce transit time.
Vehicle Maintenance
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Report any vehicle issues or malfunctions to the Fulfillment and Logistics Manager promptly.
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to all state regulations and company policies regarding the transportation of materials.
- Ensure all deliveries comply with safety and security protocols, including proper handling and storage of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any incidents.
Customer Service
- Maintain a professional, courteous attitude while interacting with clients and regulatory authorities.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with retail location staff and addressing any issues that arise during deliveries.
- Assist with developing solutions for delivery discrepancies and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in delivery driving or a related field, preferably in the logistics or cannabis industry.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with state regulations and compliance requirements related to the transportation of cannabis products.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using GPS and other navigation tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.

- Be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing tasks like bending, squatting, and reaching.
- Comply with all state regulations, including obtaining necessary cannabis handler permissions.
- Must be at least 21 years old to comply with state regulations.
- Willingness to undergo background checks, fingerprinting and able to obtain ID badging clearance per New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJ CRC) terms.
- Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements within an evolving industry.
- Maintain a safe driving record and willingness to provide a Department of Motor Vehicle Driving abstract.
