What you’ll be doing You’ll be leading a team tasked with analyzing data and presenting insights to our key partners. With your analytical, big data and reporting expertise, you’ll provide the information that will guide strategy and decision making across our business. You’ll lead the team that will be analyzing and gathering information about what’s going on across our lines of business and transforming data into insights and recommendations to improve performance. You will also help provide the insights and strategies that maximizes conversion and has impact on many aspects of Visible’s product: value prop, promotions, product enhancements, etc. Key things that this position is responsible for include: Looking for new opportunities for increasing Visible's growth on your own, thinking critically about new opportunities - not just completing assignments. Managing a team with various levels of experience to carry out the analysis and reporting. Championing the capabilities of the team and value of data-driven decision making to leaders. Presenting complex concepts and results to multiple partners. Developing the Business Intelligence function, talent, and capabilities. This role is a hybrid schedule in office that includes assigned office days (VCG in office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). What we’re looking for You’re able to translate numbers into compelling stories-—and tailor your presentation and recommendations to the audience function and level to meet their needs. You make connections between data derived from different sources and synthesize it into one complete picture. You know that different team members and partners have different needs and you flex your style and approach to be most effective. You’re the type of person that takes pride in seeing those that you mentor develop and succeed. People trust you and come to you for advice and counsel. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple highly visible projects with lots of competing priorities. You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training. Data management, architecture, analysis and visualization experience. You must be able to create your own SQL queries. Experience analyzing complex data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to multiple partners. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Master’s degree involving analytics. Ideally, a M.S. or MBA. Team management experience. Built reports, dashboards, and presentations to highlight key metrics to partners in different functions and levels. Managed multiple complex high-visibility projects with multiple partners. Technical experience with SQL, VBA, SPSS, Teradata, Tableau, Java, Python, R. Trained and mentored IT partners and business users on analytic platforms and best practices. Familiarity with consumer, financial services, or technology sector. Ideally, multi-channel distribution. Where you’ll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $119,000.00 and $242,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
