BBD Dental Care is hiring: Dental Assistant in Tampa

We are seeking an experienced and bilingual (English and Spanish) Dental Assistant to join our team at BBD DENTAL CARE (TAMPA,FL). As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the dental team in clinical procedures and treatment plans, as well as ensuring patient satisfaction and clinic efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist in clinical procedures, including preparation of instruments and materials.

- Prepare and maintain the work area clean and organized.

- Take and develop dental radiographs.

- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

- Provide attention and support to patients, responding to their questions and concerns.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.

- Assist in treatment planning and explanation to patients.

- Place dental sealants.

- Create temporary crowns and bridges.

- Perform flossing and other oral hygiene tasks.

- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (minimum 1 year).

- Certification in Dental Assisting (EFDA).

- Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

- Excellent communication and patient care skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Knowledge of dental management software and digital radiography systems.
