Job Description

Must have skills:
  • Property and Causality Insurance business / Excess & Surplus - Guidewire Insurance Now/ Guidewire -Policy center ( Personal Lines, Commercial lines)/INSURITY (Personal, Commercial Lines), SQL (Keys, Referential Integrity, Data grain, Join criteria), Data Analysis, Complex Systems (Source to Target) Data Mapping, Database design concepts, Data modelling tool (ERWIN/ IBM Infosphere data Architect), Data Bricks - Experience.
  • Good to have skill Business Intelligence, Analytics, Visualization.
  • Good understanding of statistics, data structures, and algorithms, Technical expertise in SQL.
  • Good to have ETL Informatica Knowledge.
  • PYTHON, PYSPARK and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning knowledge is an added advantage.
Key responsibilities:
  • Be part of an Agile software development for a full stack data analytics system.
  • Good Communication Skills able to interact with Both Business and Technical teams of upstream and Downstream applications.
  • Self-Motivated and role model to lead the team.
  • Onshore and Offshore co-ordination required with MST/EST/IST zone.
  • Proficiency in Data Profiling & Data Analysis.
  • Proficiency in Source to Target Data Mappings (Key structure, Record building criteria).
  • Co-ordinate with Development & Testing teams (Data Engineers and Quality engineers) explain source, target and data mapping documents.
  • Co-ordinate with Business team in gathering requirements and assisting them during validation.
  • Co-ordinate with other Data teams in reconciliation of metrics and providing support for Data analytics.
  • Proficiency in Database design concepts, Data modelling and using IBM Infosphere Data Architect Tool/ERWIN Data modelling tool.
  • Proficiency to generate DDLs.
  • Proficiency is usage of JIRA.
  • Support any development /automation of their existing Business as Usual activities for their reports and extracts.
  • Suggest improvement to their Daily Work In take Process/overall interaction among teams / data processes for optimal performance and maintainability.
  • Understand the analytic needs, preferably of Property and Causality Insurance business and translate these into meaningful and actionable data visualizations.
  • Knowledge of relational SQL databases.
