ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Develops effective recruitment strategies for a consistent flow of applicants to achieve optimum staffing levels for the bank.
- Promotes IBC as an employer of choice during recruitment initiatives.
- Develops and maintains a network of professional relationships with higher education placement centers, trade associations, and one-stop centers.
- Schedules and attends job/career fairs and job expos with bank representatives as needed.
- Uses traditional and nontraditional resources such as career fairs, employee referrals, social media, business expos, community network events, etc to identify and attract quality candidates and ensure a consistent flow of applicants
- Effectively manages applicant interview appointments utilizing Workday functionality.
- Maintains proper documentation and disposition of interviews.
- Ability to conduct screening, panel and hiring manager interviews in accordance hiring guidelines, if needed.
- Conducts reference checks on potential employment candidates.
- Ensures all types of communication venues are utilized to contact applicants for potential interview (phone, email, reference contact, facebook contact, etc).
- Oversees the recruitment and interview process to identify areas of improvement and training as well as coaching opportunities with recruitment and interview team. This includes side by side training with developmental feedback.
- Responsible for obtaining follow ups updates on candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback.
- Ability to communicates important employment information during interview process, if necessary (e.g. benefits, career opportunity, etc).
- Develops and conducts training programs for managers with a goal of improving recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reducing turnover.
- Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents recruitment, hiring, staffing and retention reporting to core retail group and other areas as needed.
- Promotes diversity and compliance with all EEO laws.

EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE
- Strong working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office program with an emphasis on Word, Power Point and Excel.
- In-House certification in recruitment and HR Compliance.
- In-House certification for non-retail and retail programs such as Top Sales Achievers (TSA), Teller Sales Program (TSP) and Sales Recognition Program (SRP) programs
