Boston salary range: $75k to $110k

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Provide professional client relationship management with external clients.
- Create, edit, and proofread complex and practice-specific legal documents, forms, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Create and maintain client/matter lists and communication lists.
- Organize and accurately maintain physical and electronic documents and files.
- Utilize Outlook to schedule appointments and calendar dates. Maintain contacts in Outlook.
- Assist with timenote entry, including inputting timenotes, editing, proofreading, and closing them on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with Client Account Manager and assigned timekeepers to manage billing process, including editing prebills, generating reports, and sending out final invoices.
- Prepare expense reimbursements, arrange for payment of invoices, and prepare check requests as needed.
- Work proficiently in document management system to locate deal-specific documents (i.e., Document Agenda/Closing Checklist prepared by attorney)
- Prepare draft Closing Document Checklists.
- Knowledge of editing pdf documents in order to extract and save individual UCC, tax and judgment lien search results.
- High School Diploma required, Associate's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years recent Legal Secretarial experience required, preferably in a large law firm.
- Experience with a variety or practices preferred with litigation experience a plus.
- Experience with 3E or similar billing platforms required.
- Highly proficient with Windows-based software used by the firm, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Litera.
- Working knowledge of database, and time and attendance tracking applications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to apply strong attention to detail to all levels of work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective internal and external client relationships.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff and a variety of external entities including clients and prospective clients of the Firm.
