Reports To: Vice President & General Manager
Summary
American Fan has an opportunity for a Data Analyst based in our Fairfield, OH facility. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and support multiple projects. This role will focus on the forward strategy of Data Analytics at American Fan. To do this, they will be providing relevant insights to help the business make decisions, address challenges and concerns and identify ways to grow. The role will analyze data trends as well as providing insights to keep us ahead of industry shifts. The ideal candidate will work closely with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, develop canned reports, and dive deep into various data sources. This candidate will need to be very detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess the qualities mentioned but not limited to: strong attention to detail, organizational aptitude as well as a high degree of ethics. This role will be required to develop relationships internally and externally to maintain relationships with customers and vendors. American Fan will consider candidates who are ready to fulfil this role in its entirety and candidates who have the aptitude and desire to quickly grow into this role.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities -
- Develop and execute the data analytics strategy plan.
- Develop dashboards, executive summaries, and weekly/monthly reports to ensure data accuracy and relevance using but not limited to Microsoft BI and other ERP tools to measure against KPIs and market dynamics
- Analyze and interpret data related to manufacturing processes to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and support the VP as needed.
- Supports other corporate projects and initiatives, as assigned.
- Performs in a manner that would support FMD's key values of Integrity, Velocity, and Teamwork
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools and data visualization software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data management practices
- Familiarity with Smart Views, SSRS and Sequel Reporting
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
- Regularly demonstrate an innovative, collaborative and forward-thinking approach
- Actively seeks continuous improvement to be implanted within owned processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a group setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a history of cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- This position includes access or potential access to export-controlled data.
