POSITION PURPOSE
The Print Coordinator plays a vital role in print design and production process. This position involves close collaboration with textile designers and factories to ensure high-quality print and color execution for apparel products. The Print Coordinator is responsible for managing the print development process from initial artwork to final production, including maintaining print libraries, and ensuring all prints meet the company’s standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Artwork Management:
- Collaborate with textile designers to pitch pantones for artwork
- Collaborate with Merchandising on identifying Print to Fabric.
- Send approved artwork to factories and ensure accurate execution in production.
- Print and Color Codes:
- Create and manage print and color codes for all new designs.
- Ensure accurate documentation and consistency across all products.
- Print Library Maintenance:
- Maintain an organized digital and physical library of all print designs.
- Update the library with new prints and ensure accessibility for the design team.
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):
- Upload and manage print-related data in the PLM system.
- Ensure all information is up-to-date and accurately reflects the current status of each print design.
- Lab Dips and Strike-offs:
- Request lab dips and strike-offs from factories to ensure color accuracy and print quality.
- Review and comment on lab dips and strike-offs, providing detailed feedback to factories.
- Approve final strike-offs, ensuring they meet the company’s quality standards before bulk production.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between the textile design team and factories to facilitate smooth communication and timely delivery of print materials.
- Coordinate with the Production team to resolve any issues related to print execution and quality.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough reviews of all print samples to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Provide recommendations for improvements and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Perform additional support duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in print coordination, textile design, or a similar role within the apparel industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Strong understanding of textile printing techniques and color management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for color accuracy and design quality.

- Knowledge of textile materials and fabric properties.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
