PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced Custodian on behalf of our client in Pendleton, SC.
We are searching for a dependable & skilled Custodian. The Custodian responsibilities include performing general custodial duties in the school, offices, common areas, classrooms, and bathrooms. They will be able to perform all duties related to maintaining the general cleaning & sanitizing needs of facilities.
Custodian Responsibilities include:

Maintain the general cleanliness & sanitizing of all church facilities
Routine cleaning & upkeep of bathrooms, kitchens, and classrooms including sweeping, vacuuming, sanitizing high touch areas and trash removal
Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning, mopping, waxing, stripping floors and shampooing rugs
Cleaning windows and walls, moving furniture, dusting, restocking
Set up rooms for special event
Unlocks/secures building and rooms
Clean up in the event of illness of student or employee
Interacts with co-workers, supervisors, students, teachers and the general public in a friendly, professional manner.
Basic knowledge of technology and be able to perform minimum computer skills.

Custodian Qualifications include:

Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
Ability to handle physical workload
Must be physically able to operate a variety of machines and equipment, including a telephone and cleaning equipment
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Must be able to visually see areas that need cleaning and distinguish between acceptably clean and unclean
Complete background & drug screen
Must be able stand & walk up to 8 hours
Reliable transportation
Ability to report on time and work each day. Dependable.
Some overtime required
