Job Description

The Recreation Department is hiring Youth Sports Officials- Part-Time. The Youth Sports Officials are responsible for officiating scheduled games. Knowledge of the rules of the game is required. Must have a high level of independent judgment.

Schedule:

November - March

Position Details

Prior experience in officiating youth sports is desirable.
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Graduation from an accredited high school or GED equivalent required.
Must attend an interview and training session.

Must follow City policies and regulations.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings.
Officials are under the direction of the assigned Coordinator and the Program Supervisor. All employees are responsible to the Recreation Manager.
Hourly rate is $25.00/hour, and you will work up to approximately three (3) to eight (8) hours per week from November to March.
Hiring is subject to pre-employment drug screening and background check.
