Job Overview: We are growing! We are a private family practice that has been serving the community of Burlingame for more than 27 years. We are a team oriented and enthusiastic practice that is respectful, nice and helpful to one another. Offering our patients comprehensive general dentistry we hope to add to our team a proactive and engaging hygienist. We are currently looking for a Hygienist to work 2-6 full days per month. Duties: - Perform dental cleanings and assist with other procedures under the supervision of a dentist - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Conduct patient assessments and charting - Maintain accurate patient records - Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care - Work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics - Utilize knowledge of general dentistry and anatomy - Familiarity with CAD software and Epic electronic health records system Skills: - Proficiency in medical terminology - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Team player with a positive attitude - Organizational skills to manage patient schedules effectively If you are a dedicated Dental Hygienist with a passion for oral health and patient care, we invite you to apply.
