Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for an experienced Interim Accounting Manager to support our large, international real estate client on a 4–6-month remote engagement beginning immediately. The Accounting Manager will support an extensive project specifically helping with intercompany reconciliations, both domestic and international.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the internal audit team to ensure effective internal control systems.
  • Collaborate with foreign subsidiaries to ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
  • Oversee the reconciliation process and resolve any discrepancies or inaccuracies with intercompany balances.
  • Assist with the end-to-end consolidation process, including data collection, audit, and report generation.
  • Foster and enact improvements in financial processes to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the senior management team, providing expert guidance on financial matters.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, and act as the principal liaison between the finance department and other operational departments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. A CPA designation is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in the real estate sector.
  • Proficient in advanced accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • ERP experience required - PeopleSoft preferred, not required.
