We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Financial Accounting Consultant for our thriving Lincoln-based business. This position plays a pivotal role in our financial management and strategic planning, and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert financial advice, guidance, and support to ensure the sound financial management and robust financial strategy of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting within the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing finances, reducing costs, improving efficiencies, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert financial advice and guidance to the management team, helping to shape our financial strategy and drive business growth.
2. Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
3. Implement effective financial management strategies to reduce costs, improve efficiencies, and increase profits.
4. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, banks, and suppliers.
6. Conduct regular financial audits and reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
7. Provide financial training and support to non-financial staff to improve financial awareness and understanding.
8. Identify and implement opportunities for improving financial processes and systems.
9. Manage and oversee book sales, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
10. Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial management with business operations and strategy.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
3. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
4. Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound financial decisions.
6. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and understandable way.
8. Strong IT skills, with experience using financial software and systems.
9. Experience in managing book sales is essential.
10. A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and challenges.
