Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Internship is one discipline of IDEMIA North America's 12-week Summer Internship Program. The Cybersecurity intern is an integral part of the organization and acts as the technical assistant for various projects relating to cybersecurity architecture, defensive and offensive practices.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events and incidents Learn to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in our system Assist in the development and documentation of cybersecurity policies and procedures Participate in security awareness and training initiatives Support the incident response team in handling security incidents Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities Contribute to remediation efforts based on assessment findings Qualifications
Position Requirements
You are a college junior, senior, or recent graduate majoring in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Software Engineering or related curriculum with a minimum GPA of 3.0 Must be authorized to work in the US Basic knowledge (demonstrated experience) in the following programming languages: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Java Server / Client, C, C++, C#, Java or Python Demonstrated ability to learn relevant technologies Robust communication (written and verbal), collaboration, and problem-solving skills Drive and eagerness to learn Preferred Qualifications
Experience in previous cybersecurity internship or projects Passion for innovative technologies and security/identity related issues
